"We are getting big Mom, like it or not!"

Taylor got her glasses on Thursday Nov 13th. She's doing well in them, took a few days of adjustment but, she wakes up in the morning and puts them right on herself. Yay!

Just when I thought she could not get any cuter! Reminds me of when Michael wore glasses before his lasik surgery....adorable.

In other news...Callie Grace is ready for potty training. We tried working with her while Taylor was learning, I even bought 2 potties to avoid potty chaos. I don't think she was ready b/c she would only sit on it with her diaper on usually. So....now she's asking to go whenever I take Taylor. The trick with Callie is getting her go when SHE actually has to, not just when Taylor does. lol...she's a bit co-dependent. The goal is to have her out of diapers by Christmas!

Little Hailey will be 8 in 11 days! I can't believe it. She's planning a black & white bowling birthday party. She mentioned something about glamour and fashion while you bowl? Thats my kid! She was trying to pick 10 kids last night while we are walking thru Safeway I have a feeling we might have to bump it up to 12 or 15. ;) So, we're working on finding a free night for that sometime soon. I ordered a piplup (pokemon) cake for her bday party this Sunday with Grammy. I'm so excited! I love this cake lady...she's fantastic! I just googled an image of this pokemon penguin, sent it to her and she's designing it. Gotta love that!

Ok, that's it for now...love to you all from the Stewarts. Have a blessed day.

Baby Videos

I love looking back, it helps me appreciate the journey of life...Mike & I were sitting in our room looking at a couple of old home videos tonight and I thought I'd post two on our new blog!

The video of Hail & Callie was filmed on Aug 9th 2006 when Callie was 3 months, and the video of Taylor was filmed on May 20th 2006...right before she turned 1!!

Enjoy, I'll post more another night.

A blog from a Mother's heart

Hello!

Welcome to the blog for Hailey Mae, Taylor Lynn & Callie Grace.

My friend, Sheila sent me a blog she created about her Son, Jase. She wanted to document his toddler years. I thought it was a fun idea. Thanks Sheila!

In our house things happen and things are said that are funny, crazy, cute, shocking and I never want to forget them. I wish I had a camera constantly running. Things that the girls do are so precious. Whether it's playing toys, trying to solve a problem with each other, learning, wrestling, singing, dancing, or just sitting and chatting. I have asked God at times "please do not let me forget this moment, or I hope I never forget this day" I look at their little faces and know that children grow so fast. I try so hard to capture it, take a mental picture so I can think on it later.

So, the Blog is born! I will log in as much as possible. I'll keep a journal of special moments and update you all on things we have happening I'll add the pictures we take so that you can enjoy them too!

Thought for today: I pray that you all take time to enjoy the day, no matter what it brings your way and that you know all things are possible with God. Amen!

Love,
Val
